Jindal Stainless to offset subdued exports through local sales

The country’s largest maker of stainless steel has, though, maintained its guidance of a 20% growth in sales volume to about 2.2 million tonnes in the current fiscal. This includes sales in the domestic market as well as exports. The ongoing conflict in the Red Sea has pushed up the time as well as costs for exports to Europe, the management shared, and selling in the domestic market may result in some pricing pressure as exports are usually in premium markets.
