In calendar year 2023, India's domestic air passenger traffic grew by 8.34% year-on-year, reaching 15.20 crore. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) data revealed that the total domestic passenger volumes for the year ending December 31, 2022, were 12.32 crore.
