Industries Minister MB Patil defended the State Government's decision to allot a five-acre civic amenity plot to AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge’s family trust at the aerospace park near Bengaluru's airport. BJP objected, questioning the family's qualifications for an aerospace plot. Patil stated that Kharge's son, an IIT graduate, planned to set up an R&D center, which aligned with KIADB regulations for civic amenity plots.
