The state unit of BJP in Karnataka has demanded strict action against Yathindra Siddaramaiah, son of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, for allegedly making an inflammatory statement. The BJP accused Yathindra of creating hatred between religions and making false claims to turn the public against the saffron party. They cited a statement where Yathindra allegedly claimed that if BJP comes to power, Hindu women will lose their mangalsutra, all mothers will lose their husbands, and women of all religions will lose their husbands and children.
