BJP drops two-time sitting MP, Kirron Kher, from Chandigarh, fields Sanjay Tandon from the UT

BJP has replaced two-time sitting MP Kirron Kher with Sanjay Tandon, the former chief of the party's Chandigarh unit, as its Lok Sabha candidate from the Union Territory. Kirron Kher, who secured victories for the BJP in Chandigarh in both the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, has been replaced by Sanjay Tandon for the upcoming polls. Additionally, the BJP released its 10th list for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, featuring nine contenders, including fresh faces and replacements. Among the new entrants, seven hail from Uttar Pradesh, while one is from Chandigarh.
