The Congress and the United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kerala have rejected electoral support from the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political arm of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI). This decision came after criticism from the BJP and the Left for allegedly seeking support from a party linked to communalism.
