Jairam Ramesh, the Congress General Secretary, criticized Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Ramesh claimed that Sarma becomes angry whenever he sees or hears about Rahul Gandhi or the Congress party. In another dig at the Assam Chief Minister Jairam Ramesh advised him to relax till January 25, the last day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in the state and continue to fill his coffers in the meantime.
