MANILA, Philippines — San Miguel Beer star center June Mar Fajardo is on track for another Best Player of the Conference award after leading the statistical points at the close of the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup double round eliminations.
The 6-foot-10 Fajardo amassed 43.9 average statistical points on the strength of his per-game averages of 21.3 points, 15.0 rebounds (tops in the league), and 2.8 assists for the Beermen.
The Cebuano big man is in contention for what could be a new league record 11th BPC trophy.
NLEX's do-it-all guard Robert Bolick is at second spot in the BPC race
with 38.7 average SPs, behind solid stats line of 20.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and a tournament-best 8.6 assists.
NorthPort's sharp-shooting wingman Arvin Tolentino is at third spot with 37.5 average SPs built around 23.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.2 steals.

Meanwhile, Blackwater's Filipino-American guard Sedrick Barefield made it as the lone rookie in the top 10, occupying seventh spot at the close of the elimination phase with 29.5, followed Converge's vastly-improved playmaker Alec Stockton (29.1), last season's Rookie of the Year Stephen Holt of Ginebra (28.4), while Meralco's Chris Newsome is at 10th with 28.1.
In the race for the Best Import, Blackwater's high-scoring George King leads the stats race after compiling 61.7 average SPs.
The standout from Colorado averaged 40.3 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in the eliminations, helping the Bossing to a 5-5 record, though the NLEX Road Warriors' superior quotient knocked Blackwater out of the playoffs picture.
TNT's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is at second with 57.6 average SPs, followed by NLEX's DeQuan Jones (55.3).
San Miguel's Jordan Adams (50.1), and Converge's Jalen Jones (47.5) complete the top five.
