From cloud kitchen to food hall

GrabKitchen, a cloud kitchen start-up born during the pandemic and focused exclusively on online food deliveries through a partnership with Grab, has now rebranded as The Sundry Food Hall, with its first branch in Parañaque City now open for dine-in customers. With dine-in back in full swing, its management decided to pivot its business model to cater to the demand. The Sundry Food Hall prides itself as the first food hall in the Philippines that is optimized for food delivery. Since the company has been successful in the delivery business in the past three years, they thought of ways to help its restaurant partners maximize their investment by introducing additional revenue streams such as accommodating dine-in customers and onboarding on other delivery platforms like Foodpanda with zero increase on their current investment. For restaurants and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), The Sundry Food Hall is a cost-efficient way to expand the geographic area they serve and reach more consumers. These food halls lower their cost of operations by eliminating high capital investments like construction costs and heavy upfront rental costs, which are the most expensive expansion constraints for restaurants. Through The Sundry Food Hall, restaurants now have a new avenue to expand their business with minimal investment. Some of their partner restaurants are able to save up to almost 90 percent of capital when operating a branch within their facility. Since their business model eliminates the high cost of expansion, their restaurant partners can focus on what they do best: creating and cooking great food for customers. The Sundry Food Hall has a variety of cuisines that can cater to the different cravings of customers, including classic buffalo wings from Frankie's; refreshing Panda Milk tea from CoCo; cult-favorite Cheesy Tteokbokki from Happilee; authentic Chinese noodle soup from Wann Mann, and so much more. The Sundry Food Hall's newest branch is located in Parañaque City. The branch adds to the overall seven The Sundry Food Hall branches across Metro Manila. Customers can order online from The Sundry Food Hall via GrabFood and Food Panda or walk-in their other branches located in Pasig, Sampaloc, Malate, Commonwealth, Caloocan, and Makati. To celebrate the launch of the newest The Sundry Food Hall branch, they are offering the following online promo codes: Sundry100 (P100 discount with a minimum spend of P599 via Foodpanda) and Sundry80 (P80 discount with a minimum spend of P800 via GrabFood).
