MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) is monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) 695 kilometers east of Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte.
In its early morning bulletin on Saturday, the weather bureau said the LPA was affecting Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, Central Visayas, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Leyte, Southern Leyte, and Eastern Samar.
Meanwhile, Palawan, the rest of Southern Mindanao, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, and Occidental Mindoro are affected by the southwest monsoon.
Palawan and the rest of Southern Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, while the other areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated or localized rain showers or thunderstorms.
The temperature range for the day is from 26.1 degrees Celsius and relative humidity is from 59 to 95 percent.
