SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — For surpassing the June revenue collection target of the Bureau of Customs (BoC) – Port of Subic, District Collector Atty. Ricardo Morales II awarded certificates of commendation to the agency's staff.
BoC – Port of Subic managed to collect P4.391 billion last month which resulted in a surplus of P250.28 million. The monthly target for June was P4.141 billion.
Morales described the June revenue collection as a significant milestone for the agency, prompting him to laud the efforts of his team as he handed the members of his team certificates of commendation for "achieving this financial success."
"The relevant efforts of our team have not only exceeded expectations but also demonstrated the impactful results of strategic initiatives in line with Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio's five-point priority program," Morales said in a statement.
"The Port of Subic remains steadfast in its commitment to border protection, trade facilitation, and the collection of lawful revenues. Our team has once again proven their value by significantly contributing to our revenue goals and exceeding expectations. Keep up the great work, Port of Subic Family," he added.
