Celebrate Italian-Philippine collaboration on advocating travel and the arts at The Manila Times (TMT) forum, titled "Classical culture and tourism: A happy matrimony," at The Gallery, Grand Hyatt Manila on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon). Co-hosted by classical-crossover mezzo-soprano Janina Lorelei and TMT Supplements and Special Projects editor Dafort Villaseran, the event features Embassy of Italy in the Philippines Ambassador Marco Clemente, Tourism Undersecretary Shereen Gail Yu-Pamintuan, Pangasinan 4th District Rep. Toff de Venecia and Alliance Global Group CEO Kevin Tan as speakers. Moderated by TMT columnist Ben Kritz, the panelists include Philippine Opera Company founder Karla Gutierrez, Manila Symphony Orchestra President Maan Hontiveros, and National Commission for Culture and the Arts Commissioner for the Arts and head of the National Committee on Music Arvin Manuel Villalon.
