The Philippines are alive for their semifinal bid as they tallied 3-1 win-loss card, while Australia fell to 1-3.

In the second frame, Australia was two points away to tie the match, 23-21.
But Philippines responded with a 3-nothing run, as Denesse Daylisan guarded the net, Bron converted back-to-back service aces, and Daylisan powered a through-the-block hit to gain a 2-0 set advantage.
Australia displayed grit after taking the third frame, banking on Alas Pilipinas' errors.
The Philippines took care of its five-point cushion and its match point advantage, 24-19, as Australia made a costly attack error to hand Alas Pilipinas its victory.
