NEW YORK — The Boston Celtics thwarted a desperate Dallas rally in the final minutes to beat the Mavericks 105-98 on Sunday (Monday in Manila) and take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven NBA Finals.Jrue Holiday led Boston's scoring with 26 points and the Celtics withstood a 32-point triple-double from Mavericks star Luka Doncic to post a second straight win on their home floor. The series shifts to Dallas for game three on Wednesday. AFP
