SKSU students excel at 1st MRCJPES

SULTAN Kudarat State University (SKSU) student-members of the Junior Philippine Economics Society (JPES) SKSU Chapter excelled during the 1st Mindanao Regional Convention of Junior Philippine Economics Society held at the Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) on April 12 and 13, 2024, as reported by Jose Emmanuel Aureo.

The two-day event was participated in by aspiring economists from across the region that featured activities such as plenary talks, breakout sessions, academic pursuits and sociocultural events.

SKSU students excelled by winning several awards, namely Creative Yelling Competition and Contemporary Dance,champion; Hip Hop Competition and Vocal Solo, – first place; and Econoserye (Short Film), second place.

"The SKSU Economics Society sets its sights on even greater heights, poised to make an even more significant impact in the field of economics in the years to come to be exemplars of the university's excellence," Aureo reported.
