ZAMBOANGA CITY: Police launched a murder investigation into the killing of the operations chief of the Cotabato City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.Police said Jose Raymond Marquez was gunned down near a gas station along Sinsuat Avenue on Friday night.Marquez, who also goes by his alias Choco T Mambatallica on social media, was riding on a motorcycle when the gunman fatally shot him.The attacker fled after the shooting, and civilians near the area rushed the victim to the hospital where he was declared dead by the attending physician.This was also reported by Radyo Bandera Cotabato, which broke the news.No other details were made available by the police and no individual or group claimed responsibility for the murder. Gun attacks in Cotabato City are not uncommon due to the presence of hired killers.
