ALTERNERGY Holdings Corp. said on Thursday that two subsidiaries had signed full-service agreements with Envision Energy International Trading Limited for the installation of wind turbine generators in plants in the provinces of Quezon and Rizal.
The boards of Alabat Wind Power Corp. (AWPC) and Alternergy Tanay Wind Corp. (ATWC) on Thursday approved and authorized the execution of the agreements, Alternergy said in a disclosure.
The agreements involve full service, onshore and offshore turbine supply, and coordination for the Alabat Wind Power Project on Alabat Island, Quezon, and the Tanay Wind Power Project in Tanay, Rizal.
These are for the design, engineering, manufacturing and delivery of wind turbine generators with 6.5-megawatt (MW) and 8-MW rated capacities and a 10-year service and maintenance arrangement.
Alternergy last month signed a deal with K2 Management (K2M) for the development of both the Tanay and Alabat wind projects.
As the original equipment contractor, K2M will support Alternergy in terms of procurement, construction management, design reviews, site management, and quality control.
Alternergy's share price remained at P0.75 on Thursday.
