AS part of its ongoing commitment to advancing electrification through the Blue Switch program, Nissan Philippines has joined forces with realme Philippines to orchestrate a day filled with activities for the children of Make-A-Wish Foundation Philippines. This initiative marked the second phase of realme Philippines' Holiday-themed corporate social responsibility (CSR) caravan.
The Nissan LEAF, with its advanced vehicle-to-everything (V2X) capabilities, played a central role in bringing smiles to the faces of children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
A group of youngsters from the foundation enjoyed a memorable outing to Art in Island, Asia's largest 3D museum, accompanied by selected members of the tech media and representatives from realme Philippines. The highlight of the day was a delightful treat of snacks and ice cream — powered by the Nissan LEAF. The V2X technology of the LEAF was harnessed to energize the snack station. Following the festivities, a brief program unfolded, during which realme Philippines generously donated smartphones, tablets and accessories to both the children and staff of the foundation.
Juan Manuel Hoyos, president of Nissan Philippines, expressed his pride in the collaboration. "As brands that instill the importance of innovation and a daring spirit, Nissan is proud to partner with realme Philippines in its efforts to spread the Holiday cheer to the community. Using the capabilities of the Nissan LEAF, we continue to find innovative ways to utilize sustainable technology to inspire, delight, and improve the lives of Filipinos," he said.
