In Bangladesh, student protesters and political activists armed with weapons prevented supporters of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from reaching the house of her father and independence leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The protesters attacked visitors, set the museum on fire, and harassed journalists. Hasina, now in exile, urged supporters to honor Rahman's death anniversary.
