Government to offload more onions in markets to stabilise retail prices

The Indian government is increasing onion supplies from its buffer stock to stabilize rising prices caused by temporary shortages. Along with releasing more onions into retail markets, the government is also ramping up distribution through organizations like NAFED and NCCF. While onion prices have fluctuated, tomato prices are declining due to increased arrivals, and potato prices remain stable.
