The Union Cabinet has approved a Rs 2,245 crore railway project in Andhra Pradesh to connect Amaravati with major metros like Hyderabad and Chennai, enhancing connectivity with central and north India. Another Rs 4,553 crore project in Bihar will double the Narkatiaganj-Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Darbhanga corridor, improving links with Nepal.
