Thermal power plants (TPPs) in India reported their highest-ever coal stock of over 45 million tonnes on June 16, a 32% increase from the previous year. The Ministry of Coal worked tirelessly to ensure a consistent coal supply by enhancing production, logistics management, and inter-agency coordination.
