The Samajwadi Party announced that INDIA bloc candidates will contest the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly bypolls using its election symbol 'cycle'. Union minister and RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary claims this is a "face-saving" effort by the coalition. The bypolls for nine assembly seats will be held on November 13, with results announced on November 23.
