Tejasvi Surya informed Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla about opposition members' alleged threats and disruptive actions during a meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Waqf Amendment Bill. Surya stated the disruptions occurred while discussing a 2012 report on Waqf land. He urged disciplinary action against the unruly behavior of the opposition members.
