Hyderabad police detained BJP leader Madhavi Latha and others for protesting the alleged vandalism of the Muthyalamma temple in Secunderabad, claimed by BJP as an act to insult Hindu society. Union Minister Kishan Reddy visited the scene and demanded thorough investigation and heightened security measures for temples in the area.
