The Delhi Parks and Gardens Society (DPGS) has been asked to import 3 lakh tulip bulbs from the Netherlands for ₹1.5 crore, which are to be distributed to parks and gardens management committees and RWAs. However, the choice of tulips for Delhi's arid and hot climate, and the short blooming period, make it difficult to rationalize the project.
