India's service sector activity dropped to a 10-month low in September. This was due to a softer increase in new business, international sales, and output. Despite this, employment saw gains, driven by strong labor demand. Meanwhile, overall manufacturing activity also slowed, leading to a decrease in the Composite Output Index.
