The two planned refineries, likely to be located in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, will process 10-15 million tonnes each annually. ONGC and BPCL will partner with Saudi Aramco. This comes as the planned mega-refinery in Ratnagiri faces challenges. The projects are part of discussions regarding Saudi investment in India.
