Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reviewed the performance of 7 Regional Rural Banks in the North East. She urged them to boost credit disbursement under various Government schemes. She called for increased credit for agriculture and allied activities. She also emphasized the importance of covering every eligible person under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
