Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has backed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's allegations that the Congress party misused funds from Karnataka's liquor sales to finance their campaign for the Maharashtra assembly elections. Modi had accused the Congress of treating states where they hold power as personal ATMs, citing Karnataka as an example where Rs 700 crore was allegedly siphoned off.
