In Dunedin, New Zealand, a sign at the airport limits farewells to 3 minutes to reduce congestion. Dunedin Airport CEO Dan de Bono clarifies that enforcement won't be strict, and hugs exceeding three minutes can be moved to the parking lot for up to 15 minutes, despite concerns over its strictness.
