In Jammu and Kashmir, 84% of newly elected MLAs in 2023 are crorepatis, an increase from 75% in 2014. The average declared assets have surged to Rs 11.43 crore. Tariq Hamid Karra of Congress is the richest with Rs 148 crore, while Mehraj Malik of AAP is the poorest legislator with Rs 29,070.
