The Kerala Assembly reprimanded four opposition UDF MLAs for breaching legislative privileges. This followed a heated protest involving derogatory slogans and disruption in the House. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan stressed the importance of maintaining decorum, while Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan accused the Speaker of bias. The House passed the resolution to censure the MLAs.
