Marital rape is rape, not another crime

The existing law on rape in India lacks inclusivity, as it doesn't account for male or transgender victims and exempts marital rape. The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita continues this discrepancy, failing to recognize marital rape as a crime, thereby undermining the seriousness of rape regardless of marital status.
