Mirwaiz Umar Farooq urged the BJP-led government to restart dialogue on the Kashmir issue, drawing inspiration from former PMs Vajpayee and Manmohan Singh. He emphasised that violence cannot resolve the issue and accused authorities of curbing religious and political freedoms in J&K.
