A special court in Pune has issued a summons to Rahul Gandhi in a criminal defamation case. The case is filed by the grandnephew of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The summons is related to remarks Gandhi allegedly made against the Hindutva ideologue. Rahul Gandhi is required to appear before the court on October 23.
