Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former JD(S) MLC Ramesh Gowda face charges of extortion and criminal intimidation after realtor Vijay Tata accused them of demanding Rs 50 crore for the Channapatna by-elections. Kumaraswamy allegedly threatened Tata when he refused to pay.
