Aam Aadmi Party candidate Amar Singh from Nilokheri Assembly constituency in Haryana joined Congress and withdrew his candidature. This move is expected to help Congress by preventing vote division. Voting for all 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana is scheduled for October 5, with counting on October 8.
