Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma responded to Congress leader Priyank Kharge's criticism of semiconductor units in Assam and Gujarat. Sarma urged Congress leaders to support Assam's growth. Kharge argued that Karnataka has better infrastructure for such projects. The semiconductor facility in Assam is expected to create 27,000 jobs by 2025.
