Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva criticized AAP for postponing the MCD Standing Committee election, accusing them of undermining democracy and Dalit rights. The election was rescheduled by the Lt Governor to September 27 after protests and disagreements over mobile phone usage during voting. The Mayor opposed this new date, but the Lt Governor insisted on proceeding.
