The anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal has found a complaint by a Lok Sabha MP against SEBI chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch unconvincing to warrant a probe. The complaint, based on Hindenburg Research's report, lacked verification of claims. Lokpal asked complainants to provide affidavits detailing efforts to verify the report's authenticity and specific allegations under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
