Three Muslim organisations, including an RSS-linked group, have expressed support for the proposed amendments to the Waqf law before a parliamentary panel. Despite opposition members raising concerns, the groups highlighted the need for better management of waqf properties. The committee plans to visit multiple cities to gather more stakeholder opinions on the bill.
