Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the central government has successfully reduced left-wing extremism across India and aims to completely eradicate Naxalism by March 31, 2026. Speaking to victims from Chhattisgarh, Shah emphasized the government's commitment to ending the Naxal menace, which is now limited to four districts in Chhattisgarh.
