The Supreme Court has stayed trial court proceedings against Congress leader Shashi Tharoor in a defamation case. Tharoor had claimed an RSS leader compared Modi to a 'scorpion sitting on a Shivling.' The high court previously vacated the interim order, directing parties to appear before the trial court.
