Aparna Yadav, sister-in-law of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and a BJP leader, will join the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women as its vice chairperson. Despite earlier speculation about her dissatisfaction with the appointment, she is set to assume her role on Wednesday after meeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
