Clean, good news is in the air!

By Economic Times - 2 months ago
The environment ministry's latest data shows that 95 out of 131 cities under the National Clean Air Programme have improved air quality. Notably, 21 cities have reduced PM10 pollution by over 40% compared to 2017-18 levels, achieving the target ahead of schedule. Despite these gains, most cities still fall short of national ambient air quality standards.
