Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut stated that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's repentance over past political actions is futile and predicted his defeat in the upcoming Baramati assembly elections. This follows Ajit Pawar's public admission of a mistake in fielding his wife against his cousin Supriya Sule. Raut also criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah for allegedly undermining Mumbai politically and financially by shifting key institutions to Gujarat.
