Delhi Minister Atishi stated that the Delhi and Punjab governments will oppose the imposition of GST on research grants at the 54th GST Council meeting. She also highlighted concerns about GST on online payments under Rs 2,000 and health insurance. Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema echoed opposition to GST on health insurance and research grants.
