Senior Haryana BJP leader Anil Vij commented on wrestler Vinesh Phogat joining Congress, stating the BJP had no objection if she wanted to switch from being 'desh ki beti' to 'Congress ki beti'. Phogat and Bajrang Punia joined Congress ahead of state Assembly polls. Vij accused Congress of instigating the wrestlers' protest in Delhi against former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
