The Congress has appointed B Mahesh Kumar Goud as the new president of its Telangana unit, replacing A Revanth Reddy. This decision follows a meeting between Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu to discuss organisational changes in the state.
